Cooperative Housing Societies are governed by various Act's and Bye laws. It is important that all societies, abide by these laws. However, committee members do not possess professional knowledge of byelaws and other rules and regulations and hence often find it difficult to run the society in a smooth manner. Due to this lack of knowledge many societies often find themselves in a legal mess.
